Ten-Tailed Trickster

Inari is the God of Rice and Prosperity in Japan and was not featured in the video game Okami. Probably because they wanted to make Nine-Tails the bad guy, so Inari would have been too complicated to explain in lieu of this. Inari is also known as a trickster god, so he's looking rather dashing and devious.

He is also the god of all foxes and messengers, and as such, he is the most powerful of the "tailed" creatures, and the only one capable of owning a full set of Ten Tails. Such an honor is reserved for a god alone. Therefore, you see him here with ten distinct tails and of course I've given him the Okami markings.

The look on his face makes me think he was saying, "Don't think I didn't notice I wasn't invited..."
